I had the privilege of living in one of the most beautiful cities of the south; Savannah GA. What sets this city apart from others is it's history. Savannah was founded in 1776, and has preserved the architecture, parks, Southern charm and beauty through the years. It is the largest Historic Landmark in the United States and is a walking city, easily accessible by foot. I took this series of Kodak Ektachrome slides in 1985 with a Canon A-1 SLR, scanned the images and wanted to share them with you. Enjoy the Charm of the south.
In the early 1960's my Father purchased something that changed my life forever. . .A Polaroid camera. It was rather strange in appearance, but it was the latest and greatist in technology at the time. You could snap the shutter, and in seconds out came a picture that slowly developed in front of your eyes in just a few minutes! It was a like having a portable darkroom. Magic! That camera was a springboard into the next decade when I bought my first 35 mm SLR. As they say, the rest is history.

Angry Birds
Angry Birds? Not these Birds. These feathered friends can make some of the most fantastic photographs. They come in all shapes, sizes, colors and different species. You must be patient and quick with your camera. In southern cities there are wildlife preserves or a bird sanctuary where you can spend the day capturing shots that you and your circle of friends will enjoy over and over. .

Paths
Photography allows us all to look through the lens eye and see everyday things in a different light. In a sense, it takes us down paths we are familiar with, but have never been to. I think it is for that reason I find roadways, bridges and boardwalks fascinating subjects for images. I would like to share a few examples.
