St. Johns River Adventure

Just northeast of Orlando, the St. Johns river majestically winds its way north through small river towns and fish camps. The river basin is full of natural beauty and all kinds of wildlife including birds, turtles, alligators and different species of fish. Not to mention the colorful characters that call the river their home. We navigated up the river and eventually pulled up to the dock of the river town of  Debary and the Swamp House Grill at the High Banks Marina. Inside there was good food, cold drink, music and Captain Natural Lee. Captain Lee is well known as an artist, writer and adventurer. The Swamp House is literally full of his talented work. Paintings, wood carvings and sculptures are on display with the common thread of local wildlife and a historic old Florida ambiance. Captain Natural Lee resides right in front of the Swamp House on the river. If you are ever in Debary, stop on in and see him.
